Although lectures have received much criticism in recent
years, studies show that there are specific ways in which
educators can optimise time spent in front of large groups.
Advances in educational research and cognitive science
demonstrate that learner attention, motivation and
engagement have a critical role in effective learning.
In this month's HPEC Fast Facts, we look at ten practical tips to
keep learners engaged in the large group classroom.
