Screening medical students for SARS-CoV-2 to facilitate face-to-face clinical teaching and prevent onward spread to patients

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused significant disruption, including in healthcare institutions. Medical undergraduate education involves significant in-person training, so there is a need for policies to prevent onward transmission to students, healthcare workers (HCWs) and patients.
